About Us.

A peer-review press, Berghahn is committed to the highest academic standards and seeks to enable innovative contributions to the scholarship in its fields of specialty. Thanks to a strong transatlantic position and close links to Continental Europe, the press sees it as one of its important roles to further the dialogue between European and American scholars. The Berghahn publishing programs are widely recognized for the quality both of their lists and of the production of their books and journals.
